Aquiline™ Exite™

Aquiline Exite is engineered to provide superb performance in wear and be easy and efficient to use in footwear manufacture. Aquiline is recommended for use as a counter, quarter and vamp lining. It is available in a number of gauges. Available in a standard split wear surface. Special finishes can be applied such as sueded wear surface, Moisture Protection and Actifresh® antibacterial treatment. Actifresh Licence Number: 1098.98

Moisture Management

Laboratory tests prove that: Aquiline lining material is vapour permeable which allows the feet to breathe. Aquiline absorbs foot moisture, which helps to keep the feet dry and cool thus improving foot comfort. Aquiline disperses moisture rapidly which contributes to dry comfortable footwear. Aquiline wicks moisture away from the foot, which promotes a healthy shoe environment. Moisture Protection A special ingredient is available to increase protection against moisture invasion. Materials are easier to clean, wick and absorb less moisture and are highly permeable to water vapour. Excellent results when used with waterproof breathable membranes and permeable uppers.

Actifresh®

Actifresh is an antimicrobial process that prevents bacterial and fungal growth. This treatment extends the life of the lining material and helps to protect against germs and offensive odours. Actifresh Licence Number: 1098.98

Conductive

A conductive finish on Aquiline is used for footbed covers, insocks and linings when soles and insoles have complementary properties. Conductive footwear allows all electricity to pass through to the ground and is therefore more effective than anti-static footwear for dissipating static electricity.
