Texon Delivers Comfort

Texon International is the world's leading producer of structural footwear materials and has pioneered insoling materials technology for over 50 years. To ensure quality, consistency and customer satisfaction, we offer a complete range of cellulose, non-woven and metallic structural product solutions to satisfy most footwear needs. Texon cotton insoles are made from high quality natural materials, (organic cotton fibres) and is believed to be the only insoling material made from 100% pure cotton linters. The result Texon cotton insoles are very tough and strong, yet highly absorbent, washable and comfortable.

The insole component provides the structural foundation for the rest of the shoe. It is the key component in the reduction of humidity inside the shoe and is subject to long lasting stress and aggressive perspiration. Even when dried, body salts continue to attack the insole and encouraging odours. Texon cotton insoles are specifically designed with absorption and comfort in mind, making it suitable for all types of shoes, including military footwear and technical performance boots. Texon cotton insoles are lightweight, breathable, absorbent, durable and washable. It can be also supplied with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal protection.

Texon Cotton Insoles - Pure Natural Cotton Linters

During processing, raw cotton is separated into spinning fibre and seeds. The remaining base fibre is the cotton linter, and is ideal for Texon insoles. Cotton linters have a softness resulting in a soft, elastic tread. They have excellent high moisture management properties and provide the necessary biological basis for good insole material.

In a unique process using cotton linters Texon International produces a high quality material insole which contains all the valued Texon quality properties in a new dimension of comfort.

Texon Cotton Insoles - Outstanding Value

We know the footwear buyer is primarily influenced by the external look and style of the shoe. As a result some manufacturers look to save money on the internal component of the shoe, or use more expensive materials such as split leather, which do not have the essential benefits Texon cotton insoles can deliver.

The insole provides the foundation for quality, performance and comfort in all footwear. Failure to ensure high quality components can seriously affect the performance and life of the shoe.

The insole is subject to long lasting stress and aggressive perspiration. Even when moisture dries, salt and acid remain and can attack the insole. Conventional materials such as leather and split leather tend to discolour and delaminate.

Quality manufacturers who want satisfied customers value the importance of a high quality insole.

Texon EcoSole 60 - Cellulose Insoling

Texon Ecosole 60 is a binder reinforced cellulose insoling material, for use in welt or non-welt constructions. Engineered to meet the needs of shoe production and produce a high level of comfort for the wearer. Texon Ecosole 60 is created from 100% recycled fibres and no dyes making it economical and ecological. Ideal for use in soccer boots and outdoor footwear.

Material Composition

Texon Ecosole 60 is a natural fibre material, available in a range of gauges, and is computer guided in production for consistency in product quality.

Cutting Recommendations

The natural fibres are directionally orientated within the material during manufacture. This provides two major benefits in performance. Firstly a high degree of stiffness across the width of the insole which provides edge stability during lasting. Secondly, a greater flexibility along the length of the midsole, which gives a positive contribution to foot comfort during wear. These benefits make slashing of the forepart unnecessary, as slashing damages the homogenous structure of the material.

Forms of Supply

Texon Ecosole 60 is available in Green and Natural. All products are supplied in sheets.

Storage

Store in a cool dry area out of direct sunlight.

Texon EcoSole 80 - Cellulose Insoling

Texon Ecosole 80 is a binder reinforced cellulose insoling material. It is a high quality non- welt application insole, designed to meet stringent manufacturing and end use requirements. A rugged insole used in all cement lasted applications, including performance type athletic footwear where a degree of firmness with resilience is required. Texon Ecosole 80 is created from 100% recycled fibres and no dyes making it economical and ecological.
