Cleaning Cloths

We manufacture a non-woven cloth felt made from a blend of viscose and polyester. It is supplied in bulk rolls and is ideal for conversion into cleaning cloths and artificial chamois leathers. It can be supplied in a choice of either white or yellow.

Filtration

We manufacture a range of 100% polyester non-woven materials that can be used for air filtration. These can be supplied as a roll fabric to your specifications and are available in either standard or antistatic finish. We also manufacture a non-woven material that is suitable for air filtration in very high temperatures.

Luggage & Apparel

Our non-woven Aquiline range, which is used extensively in the footwear industry as shoe linings, is an ideal material to use in luggage and apparel manufacture. It can be colour matched to your specification and is available in a range of gauges and special finishes. Some popular uses for this material include luggage lining, palm grips for sports gloves, belt and holster liners, pet collar linings, bush hats and knee grips for jodhpurs.

Medical Felts

We have developed an excellent range of non-woven products for medical use. The three main product areas are incontinence care, wound care and under-cast padding. Each product is specifically designed to give the wearer the right combination of confidence and comfort with a high degree of softness, absorbency and cushioning. Our products are durable in wear and consistent in performance. Incontinence Care: The non-woven felt for incontinence pads can withstand machine washing and is also resilient to tumble drying. This makes it very economical to use and reduces waste, making it more environmentally friendly. The felt material has an excellent life cycle and is highly absorbent so the pads can be very discreet whilst minimising the risk of leaks. The material is resistant to premature staining and is unaffected by anti-odour treatments. Wound Care: Our wound care felts are made from 80% viscose and 20% polyester. They are available in bulk rolls or can be split into reels for wound dressings. They can also be supplied laminated on either one or both sides,which is particularly useful for exuding wounds. Under-Cast Padding: The under-cast padding felts are made from 100% polyester. These can be supplied in either bulk rolls or in split rolls to suit your requirements. The most predominant use for this non-woven felt is as part of four-layer bandage - although it has many other uses too.

Roofing Felts

Our non-woven roofing felt is manufactured form 100% polyester. It is supplied in bulk rolls. The predominant use for this felt is for the refurbishment of flat roof surfaces. It acts as a barrier between the sharp stones of the old roof and the new surface.

Oven Gloves

We manufacture a non-woven felt from 100% polyester that can be supplied in bulk rolls or cut to the required shape in our in-house factory. The felt is washable and maintains its thermal barrier. It is an excellent quality felt and conforms to BS 6526 requirements.

Pipeliner Felts

Texon International manufactures special pipeliner felts for use in the refurbishment of pipes and sewers, often called trenchless technology, no-dig or cured-in-place pipelining. These felts are available in the 600, 800 and 1000 gramme ranges and each is available either plain or coated with an extruded polypropylene film. All our felt product is made to ISO 9001 quality standards.
