Texon provides non woven materials in Roll and Sheet form for use with cutting/plotter machines as a sacrificial bed used to hold material securely in place and avoid slippage of material as well as prolonging the life of cutting head and die.
Texon™ non-woven materials are manufactured using a combination of materials and processes to create the required properties to suit this application efficiently. Non-woven textiles are created by blending, carding and needling synthetic fibres, reinforced by selected resins. Other processes may include, printing and buffing. Texon cutting materials are supplied in standard colours in a variety of gauges from 2mm to 6mm although 3mm is the most commonly used gauge.
