First and foremost, the health and wellbeing of Texon employees, partners and customers is our utmost priority during this unprecedented time. Our efforts as a company focus on reducing risk of exposure and keeping everyone as safe as possible.
Our response to COVID-19 is led by a designated team within Texon, which is continually monitoring the situation across our operating countries and meeting regularly to update our decisions in response to the disease, including precautionary measures to prevent infections at our manufacturing facilities. We will continue to actively respond to government guidelines and implement them as required.
We want to assure our customers that we are continuously assessing operational and logistical options, with actions taken to ensure continued customer supply. Although product dispatch currently remains normal, there are heavy logistical constraints on capacities and availabilities of certain ports, vessels and other means of transportation, which could encounter some delays.
Further to this, we request your collaboration and careful planning to ensure continuity of your operations. We recommend planning with longer lead times, placing orders as early as possible and planning with adequate safety stock at your production sites. This is particularly important due to the increased controls, movement of goods and people restrictions and closure of borders by Governments aiming to control and stop the further spread of the COVID-19.
We understand that this is a rapidly evolving situation in many countries and we are closely monitoring all developments. Please reach out to your Key Account Manager or other Texon sales/customer care representative to discuss any questions you may have. We’d like to thank you for your continued custom and your support and collaboration in this important matter.
Stay safe and healthy.
From all the Texon team.
