Texon welcomes new COO.

Jelle Tolsma joins Texon International Group as Chief Operating Officer.

Texon are delighted to announce the appointment of Jelle Tolsma as Chief Operating Officer for the Texon International Group. Jelle will be based in Hong Kong reporting directly to Chief Executive, Stan Lamb.

Over the next few months, key operations within the business will transition from Stan to Jelle, as we look to develop the most efficient structure combining our sales, commercial and supply chain/operational activities. Jelle will also oversee our growth strategy in ‘non-footwear’ business for both non-woven and cellulose, and a key area to accelerate growth in our overall business.

Jelle comes to us with a strong FMCG background with a clear focus on meeting the demands of a challenging market, managing international customers’ expectations and achieving growth.

He has held senior roles in Unilever and latterly Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) a joint venture between Nestlé of Switzerland and General Mills of the USA.

He has worked and lived extensively in Europe (Netherlands and Switzerland), Asia (HK, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore), the Middle East, Turkey and Africa from a base in Dubai and currently Latin America and the Caribbean from a Mexico base.

Jelle will bring further drive and experience to Texon as we pursue our goal of growing our business substantially and creating long term growth in our company.
